Resetting your Miku baby monitor will erase all the data and settings on the device and restore it to its factory default state.
To reset your Miku baby monitor, follow these steps:
- Make sure your Miku baby monitor is plugged in and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your smart device.
- Open the Miku app on your smart device and tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
- Tap on Settings and then tap on Device Settings.
- Tap on Reset Device and confirm by tapping Yes.
- Wait for the reset process to complete. You will see a message on the app saying “Your device has been reset”.
- Unplug your Miku baby monitor and plug it back in after 10 seconds.

On occasions, the phone might lose its connection to the Miku. In such situations, you should press the “back” button in the application, reconnect to the “Miku-<number>” WiFi network from your phone’s settings, and try again. Additionally, it’s recommended to disable Wifi Assist by going to either Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data.
Why does my Miku keep going offline?
Although there could be various factors causing disconnection of your video, the following actions may enhance your network experience: Reduce the video quality. Shift your router closer to Miku. Keep your phone’s software up-to-date.
How do I connect my Miku to WiFi?
If you can’t find your WiFi network in the Miku app, you can try the following steps:
- Unplug the cable from Miku and wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug the cable back into Miku and wait for 30 seconds until the light becomes solid.
- Open the Miku app and log in to your account.
- Press and hold the LED light button for 4 seconds to flash the blue light.
- In the Miku app, follow the instructions to add Miku and then leave the app to connect with the miku-xxx WiFi network.
- Return to the app to complete the setup process.
